ABOUT
Before you call a lawyer: understand what you got, and know when you do need one.
A demand letter, a collection notice, a landlord who keeps the deposit, a business that won't refund you. Most people facing these don't need a lawyer for every step — they need to understand where they stand, what the law says, and how to answer. That's what we built.
What we built
Ritezy grew out of a legal research system built for law firms, where every claim must trace to an official source. The same engine reads New York's consolidated laws, the U.S. Code, the Code of Federal Regulations and New York Court of Appeals decisions, and explains them in plain English.
How we make sure the answer is right
- Every point with a source. In the full check, each legal point cites the section it relies on and quotes it word for word; a separate step confirms the section actually says it.
- Nothing confirmed, nothing sold. If no source supports a conclusion, you get a factual summary instead and an automatic refund.
- Honest about the limits. The instant answer is always marked unverified. Every check says when a lawyer is the better call.
What we are not
Not a law firm, not legal advice, and not a substitute for a lawyer when a case is in court, a deadline is close, the amount is large, or there are criminal, immigration or family-law consequences.
Prices
Instant answer — Free, always. Full check — $29. Letter — $149, written only on top of a check that confirmed its sources. No subscription.
